What else should I consider for my description?

Before submitting a product description, take note of the following recommendations.

Intellectual property

Generally, avoid using protected third-party material without permission from the owner. This material includes trademarks, copyrighted works, and patented ideas.

We will not reject a product just because it references intellectual property. However, if the owner issues a complaint against your product, it will be removed from Marketplace immediately to conduct an investigation.

During this time, you must provide proof of permission to Marketplace staff. Without permission, your product will remain unlisted. You may resubmit the product after removing any mention of the third-party material. In more severe cases, your product may be removed permanently.
