Track Matte Transitions

• Track Matte Transitions are similar in ways to Stinger Transitions, with one main difference - they include a track matte alongside the stinger within the same video file.

• This track matte, allows the scenes to "fade" into one another underneath the video playing, allowing for some interesting animation potential with the right techniques.

• The track matte will need to be a black and white animation that starts either black or white and ends as the opposite color, dictating how the scenes will fade between each other.

• You will need to render your video with the matte included in a specific location. Track Matte on the right, Stinger on the left: 3840x1080px Track Matte on the bottom, Stinger on the bottom: 1920x2160px

• You can also provide the matte by itself in a 1920x1080px format if you would like the customer to be able to use it without any Stinger layered on top

• If you want your transitions to be compatible with video editing, we recommend including MOV files as they are the most widely accepted video file that includes transparency

• You will want to make sure that atleast the first and last frame of your transition are completely "empty"

• Included in your files, you should put the information for when your transition "cuts" to the next scene. Essentially dictating when the scene will be hidden completely and ready to cut to the next. This is usually done either in "frames" or "time". Frames will be submitted as a basic number based on the total frames in the video and frame rate. Time will be submitted as a "ms" based on the length of the video. Frame example: Total transition frame count is 120, frame rate of 60, assuming transition point is the middle of your video, your frame would be 60 Time example: Total transition time is 2s, assuming transition point is the middle of your video, your time would be 1000ms

• You can include audio in your transition files that will play when they are triggered. You will want to include a muted version without audio as well if you do, as you cannot alter audio of transitions in streaming softwares. We also recommend including a "lowered" audio version, will the audio turned down.
